Storyline Challenge

I chose to complete the text entry variables challenge. I have learners input their name and then later their name is referred to in a different slide. 

Objective: After completing Module 1 of the Schoology course training, teachers will explain the benefits of organizing content for students in Schoology with at least 3 distinct reasons.

Activity: View teacher testimonials and listen to them explain the benefits of organizing a course. 

Assessment (not included in this published version): Complete an email template to a colleague detailing the three reasons for organizing content.

Tip: Find a way to weave the variable naturally into the slide, if possible. I chose to have the characters in the scenario say the name as if they were having a conversation with the learner. This makes it feel more personal, which is my entire reason for including the name entry variable in the first place.

Most proud of: I like the colorful graphics and how I was able to combine this variable challenge with the use of a tabbed interaction. I also like that I was able to include a warning popup if the learner does not type their name before trying to continue.
